With its 12 million annual visitors, UddannelsesGuiden (Education Guide), ug.dk is an important part of the process when young people choose an education.

Together with Styrelsen for It og Læring, we have designed a new version of the portal. Our focus has been on creating a new visual identity anchored in a mobile-friendly redesign – developed with young people at the center.

We tested design directions with students in 9th grade, vocational schools, and upper secondary schools, and the result is an identity that makes room for being exactly the shape and color you feel like.

The abstract visual language speaks to a stage in life where there are many questions: What do I want? Who am I? Maybe you feel like a blue circle. Or a green star shape. Or an entirely different form or color. No matter how you feel, there is space for all shapes, and UddannelsesGuiden can help set you on the right path.
