In this episode, you’ll meet Zoe Kalar – an Australian serial entrepreneur and the woman behind the new social platform WeAre8, which has just launched in Denmark. The platform is known as “The People’s Platform” – an alternative to existing social media.
On WeAre8, you spend no more than 8 minutes a day, you can earn money by watching ads, and at the same time you support community, climate, and social projects.
As Zoe herself puts it: “Social media should serve people and our shared future – not the other way around.”
Together with Kristina, Zoe talks about everything from the dark sides of the tech industry to the hope for a more ethical digital future. They share experiences of being women and entrepreneurs, discuss branding, design and leadership – and, most importantly, the drive to build something that can create real change.
Tune in and hear the story of how a new social platform wants to shift the power from the tech giants back into the hands of the people.
